We held a Community Investigation Hub training day for our Nurses and HCAs at Wincanton Community Hospital, and this is how it went....
During the day, we had Julia from The Yeovil Academy attend to give our team a Venepuncture Refresher, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! We also covered blood pressures, ECGs and FeNo.

Community Investigation Hubs allow patients to access preliminary tests such as blood tests and undergo routine investigations without needing to travel to Musgrove Park Hospital or Yeovil District Hospital, or adding to the workload at the GP Practices.
100Fold are working to support the PCNs with nurses and HCAs who can conduct the tests and contribute to the success of the new initiative.
