100Fold CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting Primary Care across Somerset. Registered with Companies House, we are guided by two experienced directors and a committed team focused on providing people and solutions to our local communities.

The 100Fold journey began with a significant contribution to the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, where we filled many vaccinator shifts across multiple sites in Somerset and delivered thousands of vaccines to housebound patients across the county. This initiative allowed us to establish a flexible bank of staff with diverse clinical and non-clinical experience to further support local practices and PCNs.

In addition to our vaccination efforts, we were awarded the contract to develop and manage a GP Flexible Pool, one of our core activities, aimed at offering both remote and in-person GP sessions to practices on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis (covering leave such at maternity and long-term sick). Our remote GPs offer consultation and admin sessions, as well as QOF support, specialist clinics, GP trainee tutorials, and assisting practices in integrating remote workers effectively. Through our 2023 Winter Resilience Programme, we supported 19 GP Practices with 96 funded remote GP sessions. Our staffing solutions also extend to offering short-term and long-term cover of other roles, including administrators, summarisers, phlebotomists, HCAs, treatment room nurses, spirometry nurses and diabetes nurses.

 

We also provide back-office support including HR and Finance packages to practices and PCNs (please see HR and Finance pages), as well as operational support in setting up and managing clinics for COVID and Flu. This also extends to a range of ad-hoc tasks covering IT, tax, compliance, TeamNet integration, insurance, and documentation.
